Giant Squid

Went fishing this past weekend in Puerto Penasco with Shelley, Dad and his friend George (guy to YOUR left of the humungous squid). We caught all kinds of weird stuff including a red snapper and a pelican-like bird. This picture is just a few seconds after this squid unloaded his entire chamber of ink on me. You can see it all over my shoulder but not really the rest of it all over my face and rest of boat. We stuck it on a multi-hook handline and dropped it down to catch something really big (we are never happy with the fish we have....we always try to use WHATEVER we catch to catch things progressively bigger such that we are bound to fail) and nobody caught another fish the rest of the day.
